Project Timeline
What Is Happening Now?
Presently, TDOT is in the process of updating all of the technical studies (i.e. Ecology, Air Quality, Noise, Geology, Relocations, Hazardous Materials, History, Archaeology, and Traffic/Safety) associated with the project to reflect the proposed design changes.
What Are The Next Steps?
After the technical studies have been updated and approved, TDOT will begin the preparation of a Supplemental Environmental Assessment. Once the Supplemental Environmental Assessment has been approved by the Federal Highway Administration, TDOT will hold an additional public meeting to discuss the findings with the public. This meeting is tentatively scheduled for Spring 2013.
