Public comments concerning this project can also be submitted at any time to TDOT.Comments@tn.gov. Please reference SR-76 in Carroll County.
There will be a series of public design meetings held in 2013 to discuss the preliminary design of the proposed widening and realignment of SR-76. The public is invited and encouraged to attend the meeting in their community in order to provide feedback and comments about the design. There will be a court reporter present to record all comments and TDOT representatives to answer questions.

October 7, 1999
A public meeting was held on Thursday, October 7, 1999 at McKenzie High School, 23292 Highway 22, McKenzie, Tennessee, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The purpose of this meeting was to review and comment on the preliminary design plans developed for proposed improvements from SR-5/US 45 in Milan, Gibson County to the four-lane section in McKenzie, Carroll County. Forty-four individuals submitted that they supported the project, four individuals did not, and three individuals were undecided.

March 14, 2000
A public meeting was held on Thursday, March 14, 2000 at Trezevant Middle School, 95 School Street, Trezevant, Tennessee, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The purpose of this meeting was to review and comment on the proposed improvements and alternatives to SR-76 from Cades Atwood Road near the Gibson County line to Sydnor Road in Carroll County. A total of 105 responses were submitted and recorded.
