Rail
Middle Tennesseans have a new option for avoiding congested highways and annoying delays. With the launch of the Music City Star commuter rail service in September 2006, riders enjoy a comfortable, on-time commute, while saving on parking, gas and automobile costs. This commuting alternative not only results in reduced stress for the commuter, it also reduces traffic congestion, improves air quality, and encourages economic development in our communities.

Below is a link to information about commuter rail service. Check this page regularly as more links will be added as they become available.

If you are aware of additional commuting links and resources that should be added to this page, please let us know. Send your suggestions and comments to TN.SmartCommute@tn.gov
