Nashville, Tenn. – In an effort to work together to both reduce
delays on road construction projects and safeguard the beautiful
natural resources of Tennessee, the Tennessee Department of
Transportation and Tennessee Department of Environment and
Conservation will sign the Tennessee Environmental Streamlining
Agreement tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. at the TDOT Regional Office
Complex. The goal of the TESA is to ensure that the state’s vital
transportation improvements can be implemented without unnecessary
delays, while protecting and enhancing the quality of Tennessee’s
environment.
