Long Range Planning Division - Office of Community Transportation
The Office of Community Transportation (OCT) gives TDOT a better understanding of local communities and the various comprehensive transportation planning documents and policies in place. The office has two sections, Community Planning and Regional Planning. The OCT's mission is to coordinate the state's transportation planning and local land use decisions and community visions to guide the development of a safe and efficient statewide transportation system. Both sections work together to accomplish this mission.
