Interstate 65 Interchange at SR 109-Robertson and Sumner Counties
Project Description
The project involves
construction of a new interchange with ramps and connector roads
on Interstate 65
(I-65) at the proposed new State Route 109
(SR-109) in Robertson and Sumner Counties located near the
current crossing of Lake Springs Road.
These design features will be included in this project:
- Widening of I-65 to six lanes from south of the proposed interchange to near the Kentucky border.
- Construction of the proposed new alignment of SR-109 from existing SR-109 to I-65.
- Widening of US-31W/SR-41 to 5 lanes, with curb and gutter, from the new intersection with SR-109 to near the Kentucky border.
