Equal Employment Opportunity Officers Annual On-Line Training
It is the policy of the Tennessee Department of Transportation to prohibit discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age (40 and over), disability or political affiliation. This policy applies to hiring, job training, promotion, discharge and other aspects of employment, e.g., classification/compensation, benefits, educational, social and recreational programs.
To better ensure contractors’ compliance with EEO laws and guidelines, the Tennessee Department of Transportation, Civil Rights Division, Affirmative Action Program is required to provide training to contractors’ Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Officers on a yearly basis. Upon completion of this training, a post-training assessment is required to verify and document that the training has been completed. After completion, email the Post Assessment document as an attachment to the Affirmative Action Program to AA.CC@TN.GOV.
